The brief

They came to us with a clear brief: they wanted to be ready for growth. The business was already producing events for West Ham United, Caffe Nero and Red Bull. The site told a different story. It was well built for where they started. It wasn’t built for where they were.

When a client at that level is deciding who to trust with a brand launch or a corporate conference, they’re making a quick judgement based on everything they can see. The site needed to reflect the work it was helping to win.

What we did

Before we opened a design file, we spent time understanding the business: who their clients are, how decisions get made in corporate events, and what a credible pitch looks like when you’re being considered for live experiences at brand level.

The identity came from that conversation, not a mood board. Event production is a category where a brief can land on a Tuesday and they need to move by Thursday. The visual language and tone needed to communicate trust and capability immediately, before anyone had read the small print.

We built the identity, the site and the content structure from there. Then we made sure it performed technically as well as visually. The site came in at 99/100 on Google PageSpeed and was structured to surface in AI-powered search results as well as traditional ones: semantic HTML, structured data, FAQ schema and solid content hierarchy so it shows up in Perplexity and ChatGPT Search, not just Google.

Timing mattered. They were launching paid ad campaigns at the same time. The previous site as a landing experience would have wasted that spend. The new site was ready to convert from day one.

What changed

The brief stopped being about price.

Feedback from their clients — including the household names — came back early and positively. And when the ad campaigns launched, they had a site that could do justice to the traffic they were paying for.
